Gifts of Real EstateAccording to our Gift Acceptance Policy, Whitefield Academy accepts gifts of real estate in consultation with the Board of Trustees after they have considered matters such as location and marketability. Gifts of real estate will be accepted only after an appraisal that is in line with IRS guidelines has been conducted. Furthermore, Whitefield will not accept property that is encumbered by a mortgage, lien or other indebtedness.
